Quick thoughts on Influenster #SpringRefreshVoxBox

I got a few items from Influenster in their #SpringRefreshVoxBox campaign and I thought I will quickly share my thoughts on the items. Please note that these items were sent to me for review purpose only.

Playa California Salt Shampoo & Healing Hair Masque: I have already used both the shampoo and masque a couple of times, you can see from the photos. Among all the salt shampoos I have used so far from different brands, I do like this one the most. I have an itchy scalp and some dandruff related issues, so I did find this shampoo soothing. I also liked that I could use it on my hair as well. I will wait to see if it will have long lasting positive effect - for now I am enjoying the combo. The hair masque is ok, nothing special about it, provides nourishment and keeps my hair smooth, that's it.

Milk Makeup Glossy Lip Plumper: It is such a cute looking gloss tube! I am not very much into lip plumpers; but this is not too stingy, it does not burn but I do feel a little bit of tingling. And I honestly do not know if it does any plumping. I did not see any noticeable affect. It has a pink tint to it so I will continue to use it as a lip gloss.

Milk Kush High Volume Mascara: First of all, this tube is heavy thus feels very sturdy and expensive :-). Anyway, I have used a travel size version of Kush Mascara before and I did not really enjoy it much. The full-size is working for me though, it separates and lengthens my lashes. I could use a bit more volume but overall I am content with it. It is probably a good idea to note here that I am not too fussy about my mascara.

Jimmy Choo I want Choo Eaude Parfum: I like it - it has a sultry feel to it with little bit floral attributes to it. I will happily use up the sample but I honestly do not need another full-size perfume.

That's all for today.

Influenster E.L.F. VoxBox

Another VoxBox I got from Influenster free of cost for try and review products! I have said again and again, if you a beauty explorer like me go, join Influenster

Here are the products I got -

Hydrating Bubble Mask: Great packaging! Because of the type of sealed lid it will not get contaminated easily and it is easy to keep it clean as well. Product wise it was just OK! During the application, I found it to be just a bit tacky. It did not bubble up that crazy. I did not find much hydration from it. It was just OK! I will stick to my Peter Thomas Roth Rose Stem Mask and Cucumber Gel Mask along with Rose Face Mask from Fresh Beauty.

Mineral Infused Face Primer: Again, I absolutely adore the packaging. You don't generally get an air pump when the product just cost 6$. It is a typical silicon type consistency. Very easy to use and apply and it give me a nice canvass for my foundation. I used it only once and i found it to be very typical as a primer. I have a lot of primers to get through so most likely I am going to give it to a friend.

Lip Exfoliator in Mint Maniac: I recently started to use their original lip exfoliator. It works nice but it is kind of gritty, a little bit harsh. This mint one however is very smooth as an exfoliator. However, I am still debating how effective it is as an exfoliator. But I will keep using it.

Matte Lip Color in Wine: This is a popular product from ELF. It is great fall and winter color. It is described as matte but it has a little bit of creaminess. I don't really mind that. it however is not extra long lasting. I do like wearing it & I will be keep using it.

Baked Highlighter and Bronzer: I don't care about the bronzer but I do like the highlighter. It is quite a strong highlighter. If you like subtle glow this is not for you because it can easily get out of hands! but if you do enjoy a strong highlighter than go for it. The bronzer powder feels a bit stiff and it is hard to pick up! Anyway, it is not a shade that will show up on my skin!

Thank you, Influenster!

Influenster ::: TRESemmé Beauty-FULL Volume Pre-Wash Conditioner & Shampoo

I have an extremely short & quick post today. I recently received two products from TRESemme from their new #reverseYourRoutine via Influenster. If you dont know what is Influenster check here. I highly encourage you to open an account :-) You will definitely enjoy it.

So this VoxBox contains two full-size products - TRESemmé Beauty-FULL Volume Pre-Wash Conditioner & Shampoo! I am 100% sure that all of us are pretty used to wash our hair first with shampoo and then use the conditioner. This system actually reverses that routine to bring back volume to the hair. :-) !!

It's a bit difficult to get used to applying conditioner directly onto wet hair without washing it first. Specially when I consider that hair to be dirty :-) I have been using this for last two weeks and that's big for me. I never change up my hair routine! But I definitely have been liking it enough!

First of all, I dont have fine, flat hair. In fact, quite the opposite. I have very wavy thick hair which almost tends to be frizzy. So, I am not quite the best person to check the claim about the volume effect. However, I do like the feel of both the products. The whole process was quicker than my normal routine.  The shampoo lather up pretty fast as well. So, if you have very flat hair than you might check these out.

I am that person who always apply coconut oil every night before washing my hair the next day. So for me, I cannot use the conditioner first without washing and getting rid of the excess coconut oil. But I still think I will incorporate this once a month or so in my normal hair care.

Once again, thank you Influenster for sending these to me for review purpose!

Hope you enjoyed this quick little reveiw. I will be back with a new post in just a few days :-)
